Elizabeth A. Taylor and Hon. Eddie J. McShan \u2013 together with Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson and <a href=\"https:\/\/bronx.com\/bronx-a-historical-record\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Bronx<\/a> County Bar Association (President Renee Hill, Esq.) \u2013 will present a free educational program titled \u201cWhat You Must Know When Representing Yourself in Court \u2013 Civil Matters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Rotunda of the Bronx Supreme Court at 851 Grand Concourse (161st Street), Bronx, NY 10451.<\/p>\n<p>The program is intended for individuals without attorneys and will introduce participants to their responsibilities and the procedures involved in self-representation in civil court cases. The organizers stress that the session is purely informational \u2013 no legal advice will be given or allowed.<\/p>\n<p>Panelists include Jessica Brenes, Esq.; Lakisha Brown (Chief Clerk); Isabel Bucaram, Esq.; Brian Kantor (Principal Court Clerk); Albert Levi, Esq.; Tishawna D. Salaam (Associate Law Clerk); Michelle A. Santiago, Esq.; and Justice Elizabeth A. Taylor. The moderator is Justice Eddie J.
