On Saturday, January 17, 2026, at approximately 0939 hours, New York City Police Department<\/a> (NYPD<\/a>) police officers responded to a 911 call for an unconscious female inside a residential building, located at 38 Featherbed Lane, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, officers observed a 50-year-old female, unconscious and unresponsive, with trauma to the head and body.<\/p>\n

EMS responded and pronounced the aided female deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.<\/p>\n

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n
