Jamielyn Chin added seven points and six assists and Danielle Harrell contributed nine points.<\/p>\n
\u201cJamielyn spearheaded our defense forcing turnovers that led to some layups,\u201d said Susan Wagner head coach Tom Rizzo. \u201cShe did a great job containing Mahogany Felix (sophomore point guard with over 1,000 points).<\/p>\n
\u201cCasey McKinney was phenomenal domimating the paint with two and three defenders on her. Every time we think we\u2019ve seen Casey\u2019s best, she turns it up another notch.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rizzo pointed to SW\u2019s first half, one of its best of the season, as the difference in the game.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d like to see us maintain those types of efforts more consistently for an entire game,\u201d he said. \u201cToday\u2019s game was a step in the right direction. They\u2019re a resilient group of girls who work hard and want to get better. We\u2019re finishing a critical month of games. Our best collective efforts will be needed if we\u2019re going to be successful.\u201d<\/p>\n

QUEENS, N.Y. — The Mavericks came away with a hard-fought CHSAA AA League victory Friday, behind Emma Costanzo\u2019s 17 points.<\/p>\n
Mackenzie Felci had 13 points and a whopping 24 rebounds, while Emma Bruno-Dunn added nine points <\/p>\n
\u201cEmma Costanzo hit some big threes throughout the game when we needed them,\u201d said Moore head coach Gene Henderson. \u201cMackenzie Felci was a monster on the boards, and Felci and Emma Bruno-Dunn hit some big foul shots at the end to seal the victory.\u201d<\/p>\n

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Mavs returned home Saturday and swamped their Somers, N.Y. opponent for the easy CHSAA AA League victory.<\/p>\n
Felci led the way with a dominant all-around performance, finishing with 21 points, 10 rebounds, five blocks, two steals and two assists. <\/p>\n
Costanzo continued to set the tone at point guard, tallying 10 points and six assists. Dunn added nine points, four rebounds and two blocks, while Alyssa Ragona chipped in eight points and seven rebounds. Allie Felci rounded out the balanced scoring with eight points, six rebounds and four assists. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe did what we needed to do and got another league win,\u201d said Henderson. \u201cMackenzie had another double-double, and Emma is doing a great job getting everyone involved \u2014 that\u2019s what a good point guard does. Everyone else is contributing.\u201d <\/p>\n
With the win, the Mavericks improved to 11\u20132 overall and remained perfect in league play at 8\u20130. <\/p>\n
