The NYPD is asking for the public\u2019s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in the Norwood section of The Bronx.<\/p>\n

Police said that on Saturday, Jan. 17, at around 10:40 a.m., an unidentified individual entered the Family Dollar store located at 2863 Webster Avenue and an employee observed the person placing around $31 worth of merchandise into his pockets.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
They said that as the suspect attempted to exit the store, a 40-year-old male victim intervened. Police said following a dispute, the suspect bit the victim\u2019s hand before fleeing to parts unknown, the victim sustained redness and swelling to his hand but did not require hospitalization.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
They said the suspect is described as male, has a light complexion, a medium build, and is around 30 to 40 years old. They said he was last seen wearing glasses, a maroon jacket over a black, hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black shoes.<\/p>\n
