The victim was able to climb back onto the platform and reach safety before a train pulled into the station. Police said he did not know his attacker.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The suspect, in the meantime, managed to get away, fleeing on foot into parts unknown.\n<\/p>\n<p>Officers from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyc.gov\/site\/nypd\/bureaus\/patrol\/precincts\/72nd-precinct.page\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">72nd Precinct<\/a> and Transit District 34 rushed to the scene after getting a call about the incident.<\/p>\n<p>EMS brought the victim to NYU Langone Hospital in stable condition. He was treated there for scrapes and abrasions resulting from the frightening event.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>Police on Monday released photos of the suspect, who remains at large.
