One of Kianna Underwood\u2019s \u201cAll That\u201d castmates tried to muster help for the down-and-out former Nickelodeon child star years before a hit-and-run driver killed her in Brooklyn<\/a> \u2014 as sources revealed Monday that police found the car behind the horrific crash. <\/p>\n

Angelique Bates posted an emotional Instagram video<\/a> in November 2023 alerting her fellow \u201cAll That\u201d alums that Underwood \u2014 who appeared on the children\u2019s comedy show\u2019s final season in the early aughts \u2014 was homeless. <\/p>\n

\u201cAll That\u201d Child star Kianna Underwood was killed in a Brooklyn hit-and-run. Nickelodeon<\/p>\n

\u201cI was not aware that she has been in New York homeless,\u201d Bates said. \u201cI don\u2019t understand why no one\u2019s talking about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bates, an original cast member along with current \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d star Kenan Thompson, pleaded with the show\u2019s cast and Nickelodeon executives to make a plan to get Underwood help.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s like literally one of the babies,\u201d she said, referring to Underwood\u2019s late arrival on the show.<\/p>\n

Underwood appeared in several \u201cAll That\u201d episodes, ending in 2005.<\/p>\n

But the former child star, 33, remained homeless, becoming a frequent sight on the Brownsville streets where she\u2019d eventually die<\/a> after being struck by two as-yet-unidentified hit-and-run drivers on Jan. 16.<\/p>\n

The first runaway motorist driving a Ford SUV plowed into Underwood as she crossed Pitkin Boulevard at Mother Gaston Boulevard in the crosswalk against the signal, sources said.<\/p>\n

Sources said the SUV pulled into the opposing lane of traffic to drive around a stopped vehicle, only to ram into Underwood.<\/p>\n

Underwood\u2019s body flew across the intersection, where the SUV\u2019s driver stopped before driving away, sources said. Another vehicle \u2014 a black and gray sedan \u2014 then ran over Underwood and dragged her several hundred feet, according to sources.<\/p>\n

NYPD investigators tracked down and impounded the Ford SUV that first struck Underwood, but are still gathering evidence to identify its driver, sources said.<\/p>\n

The fatal hit-and-run inspired an outpouring of grief for Underwood, including from Bates.<\/p>\n
