{"id":105051,"date":"2026-01-19T21:10:09","date_gmt":"2026-01-19T21:10:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/105051\/"},"modified":"2026-01-19T21:10:09","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T21:10:09","slug":"uniqlo-is-coming-to-williamsburg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/105051\/","title":{"rendered":"UNIQLO Is Coming to Williamsburg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The popular Japanese brand UNIQLO will soon open a location in Williamsburg.<\/p>\n<p>The store will be located at 187 Kent Avenue, in a space most recently occupied by <a href=\"https:\/\/greenpointers.com\/2022\/11\/08\/newly-opened-house-of-showfields-offers-a-confusing-retail-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the very bizarre Showfields concept store.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As with most news of more big chains moving in, so far <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/williamsburg\/comments\/1nzr5ya\/uniqlo_coming_to_williamsburg_2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the neighborhood\u2019s reaction has been mixed<\/a>. However, several pointed out that at least UNIQLO is relatively affordable and carries useful products such as its HEATTECH collection.<\/p>\n<p>The new location comes as part of the brand\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fastcompany.com\/91416419\/uniqlo-opening-new-us-stores-2026-full-list-of-locations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">overall expansion in New York City<\/a>, with three additional stores opening in Manhattan in 2026. UNIQLO first opened its flagship city location in Soho in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not the brand\u2019s first foray into the neighborhood, as it previously operated a holiday pop-up on Bedford Avenue in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>No official opening date just yet, but UNIQLO plans to open the stores in the spring and summer.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tRelated<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The popular Japanese brand UNIQLO will soon open a location in Williamsburg.
