<\/p>\nPatrick Christys has torn into Brooklyn Beckham following his extraordinary public attack on his famous family, branding him an \u201coverindulged nepo baby\u201d amid claims of deep rifts inside Brand Beckham.<\/p>\n
Speaking on GB News, Patrick questioned whether Brooklyn\u2019s success and lifestyle would have been possible without his surname, suggesting the eldest Beckham child had benefited enormously from his parents\u2019 fame and influence.<\/p>\n
Brooklyn’s Instagram statement, posted earlier today, contained a series of striking accusations against his parents. <\/p>\n
He claimed Victoria had agreed to design wife Nicola Peltz’s wedding gown but pulled out at the last moment, forcing the bride to scramble for an alternative dress.<\/p>\n
“My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress,” Brooklyn wrote.<\/p>\n
He also alleged his parents had attempted to undermine his marriage from the very beginning.<\/p>\n
“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped,” he stated.<\/p>\n
Speaking on GB News, entertainment reporter India McTaggart said: “We knew there was drama over the wedding dress, which had been briefed to us pretty much since. <\/p>\n
Patrick Christys said that Brooklyn may be a ‘nepo baby’<\/p>\n

“I mean, over the last year, that was where everyone said it started, over a fight about the wedding dress.<\/p>\n
“And we actually thought it was Nicola refusing to wear Victoria Beckham\u2019s brand as her wedding dress. This completely turns that on its head, which is why it\u2019s difficult to know where to land, because you\u2019ve got completely opposite accounts coming in.<\/p>\n
“We don\u2019t know if the Beckhams are going to respond to this on the record. I doubt it, because it\u2019s so scathing. But then again, maybe they feel they have to.”<\/p>\n
Patrick said: “One of the other things here, I don\u2019t know what your take on this was, but some of the wording for me indicated not just blowing up Brand Beckham, but implying that some relationships were inauthentic.<\/p>\n

“The implication I took was potentially that David and Victoria aren\u2019t as happy as they claim to be. I wondered if that was a bit of a veiled threat. He said, \u201cThe truth always comes out.\u201d<\/p>\n
“Obviously, we have to be very careful, I don\u2019t want to accuse anyone of anything, but I wondered if he was saying, \u201cI\u2019m keeping something in the chamber here,\u201d that could be pretty devastating.<\/p>\n
“Interestingly, I know what you\u2019re saying. It did seem like a suggestion that the whole family image was a fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n
“I don\u2019t think it seemed like a threat that he was going to reveal more information, because the last slide of the Instagram posts was very much saying, \u201cI\u2019ve found my happiness, I\u2019m with my wife, I wake up happy, and I want privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n
“So I don\u2019t know if he\u2019d then go into specific allegations, but it may depend on how his parents respond. This is such an ever-moving story that if they respond, he may feel the need to correct the record again.<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s pretty extraordinary. A year ago, sources close to him and Nicola briefed that he was ‘breaking generational trauma’ that was the phrasing used.<\/p>\n
Patrick said: “So when I was reading the allegations about growing up with immense anxiety, not being made to feel good by his parents, and feeling like he was in service to a larger brand, it was interesting.<\/p>\n
“From an outsider\u2019s perspective, there is huge privilege.<\/p>\n
“I understand there are downsides to being part of the most famous family in the world don\u2019t get me wrong. But they\u2019ve tried to give him every opportunity.<\/p>\n
“They indulged his photography career and if you can\u2019t tell, if you or I had gone on holiday and taken that picture, I don\u2019t think a publisher would have touched it. <\/p>\n
“But because his surname is Beckham, they were all over it.<\/p>\n
“Is he still a chef? I don\u2019t know. I think he once tried to teach me how to make a bacon sandwich. There\u2019s all this stuff, isn\u2019t there?
