A fire has reportedly broken out on 40th Rd off Main St in Flushing, Queens<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The New York Fire Department’s response video, shared on Instagram, shows fire blazes on the 2nd and 3rd floors of 135-31 taxpayer.<\/p>\n

A similar incident in the same area on Saturday<\/p>\n

Another fire broke out in Queens at 19-05 Flushing Ave. in Ridgewood over the weekend on Saturday morning around 4 a.m. The three-alarm fire started in a first-floor tyre shop and eventually spread to residential apartments on the second floor.<\/p>\n

FDNY Assistant Chief David Sims told 1010 WINS that the fire was hard to manage as it continued raging even after being sprayed with water.<\/p>\n

Jesus Maldonado, the building manager, expressed relief that every tenant was able to flee but said that the other occupants are “devastated” since “they’ve lost everything.”<\/p>\n

There were nine reported injuries, among which were four firefighters. The five injured tenants were treated for smoke inhalation and minor burns by the American Red Cross present on -site.<\/p>\n
