NEW YORK (PIX11) \u2013 The Department of Environmental Protection is looking for fresh new faces to employ, according to the New York City official careers website.<\/p>\n
JobsNYC lists employment opportunities available within the city\u2019s government. Some of the jobs posted require a civil service exam, but other listings don\u2019t ask you to take one.<\/p>\n
NYC Health + Hospitals hiring: Jobs with no degrees required <\/a><\/p>\n A city seasonal aide is one of the available job listings that doesn\u2019t require a civil service exam. An aide will get training on how to install, repair or replace water meters in the city.<\/p>\n The job starts at $18.54 an hour and can go up to $21.76. There are no formal education or experience requirements for the position.<\/p>\n Click here<\/a> to learn more.<\/p>\n If physical labor isn\u2019t your thing, the department is also hiring a community coordinator to process asbestos certification applications.
