(Courtesy\/RUMC)SIUH\/RUMC<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"26SIFKAS4ZFPFLM7NEAFJY5FGE\">STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 In the \u201cBig Heart Department,\u201d members of the Emergency Children\u2019s Help Organization (ECHO) jumped on board to provide winter puffer jacket coats to children in need at Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton and at Staten Island University Hospital Northwell Health in Ocean Breeze. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"5W6YXMID3VH43DMMKO4XJ6N3VM\">ECHO board member Phil Mancuso met with hospital officials at both medical centers to distribute the donated coats.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"HPB5X34QGBGRDNQYHQERXA5FAY\">\u201cWe are glad we were able to provide some children with new winter coats this year,\u201d said Sebastian Angelico, founder and chairman of ECHO. \u201cThank you to all of our supporters who made this possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As Inside Out columnist, she traces life&#8217;s poignant moments and highlights those whose generosity of spirit contribute to the betterment of Staten Island.
