Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup round three <\/p>\n

Ulster University 0-12 Queen\u2019s University, Belfast 1-14<\/p>\n

Queen\u2019s<\/a> booked their Sigerson Cup quarter final spot with victory over Belfast rivals Ulster University on Wednesday night in Jordanstown.<\/p>\n

A stoppage time goal from defender Joey Clarke sealed victory after Anton Tohill put Queen\u2019s ahead for the final time with a two-point free.<\/p>\n

Ulster led for the only time, 0-12 to 0-11, with a Ruairi McCullagh free in the 50th minute but chased the game throughout.<\/p>\n

Queen\u2019s, last winners of the title in 2007, bounced back after last week\u2019s defeat at the hands of UCC. The winners had a greater spread of scorers, including a score from Bellaghy\u2019s Luke Diamond, with brother Charlie scoring for Ulster in the second half.<\/p>\n

Ryan McQuillan kicked Queen\u2019s into the driving seat with two two-point frees but scores from Ruairi McCullagh kept Ulster in touch, trailing 0-8 to 0-5 at the break.<\/p>\n

Charlie Diamond\u2019s two-pointer pulled Barry Dillon\u2019s side back into the game but it was Queen\u2019s who stayed ahead. A Ben Cullen two-pointer levelled the game at 0-11 each before Ulster went ahead.<\/p>\n

A free from Ronan Cassidy tied the score before Tohill\u2019s late free put Queen\u2019s on their wait to the last eight.<\/p>\n

They will now be in the draw for the quarter-finals on Thursday. It will be seeded with TU Dublin, UCD, UCC and UL already through and kept apart.<\/p>\n
