The family of a Queens cyclist fatally hit by a pickup truck<\/a> this week wants justice, the man\u2019s niece and nephew told the Daily News.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll this is so recent,\u201d said Jacky Huang, nephew of the 48-year-old deceased cyclist, Xi Zheng. \u201cWe\u2019re just all trying to make sense of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was on his way to work on a bike,\u201d he added. \u201cHe always biked to work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police say Zheng was traveling west on Sanford Ave. in Flushing<\/a> Tuesday morning when he collided with a 23-year-old man driving a Ford F-150 truck making a right turn onto the avenue from 160th St.<\/p>\n

Zheng was pronounced dead at New York-Presbyterian Hospital<\/a> Queens a short time later.<\/p>\n

The driver stayed at the the scene, and police have not filed any criminal charges against him.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, we want justice,\u201d Maggie Huang, Zheng\u2019s niece, told The News. \u201cWe are working closely with the authorities.\u201d<\/p>\n

His nephew said the family has been talking to attorneys.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was in the bike lane,\u201d he said of his uncle. \u201cThen the driver on 160th St. was making a right turn.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zheng is the second cyclist killed on the streets this year in New York City.
