Uma Thurman\u2019s onetime Gramercy Park duplex<\/a> has hit the market for just under $9 million. Housed in a 1910 co-op building, the sprawling five-bedroom residence is a combination of two adjacent units that the Pulp Fiction star bought between 2006 and 2012. She ultimately sold the Manhattan apartment, where she lived with her three children, in 2016 for $6.6 million, per Mansion Global.<\/a> Notably, the home comes with a coveted key to Gramercy Park, which is not open to the public.<\/p>\n

Now, the new owner is putting the apartment on the market after their own renovation, which included upgrading the internal systems and replacing the windows. Otherwise, the prewar apartment retains many of the modern amenities that Thurman installed as owner, such as central air, a Turkish steam bath, and top-of-the-line appliances from Miele and Bosch in the eat-in kitchen.<\/p>\n

Also preserved are the original ten-foot ceilings, crown moldings, herringbone floors, and the living room\u2019s wood-burning fireplace (which have since been outlawed in new construction). In addition, the unit is equipped with a 14-foot-wide terrace overlooking Gramercy Park. The full-service building comes with a door attendant, basement storage units, and a new roof, while the common areas and lobby underwent updates in 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was such a cozy place\u2014it really was home for us,\u201d Thurman told The New York Times<\/a> when she first put the home on the market. \u201cIt\u2019s a very special building with special residents.\u201d The actress eventually traded the park setting for a view of the water, settling at the River House on East 52nd Street.<\/p>\n
