Your family\u2013and your future\u2013is my fight. Together, with my partners in the Legislature, we will protect New York\u2019s future and ensure it remains the best place in the nation to raise a family,&#8221; Hochul stated. &#8216;<\/p>\n<p>No Income Taxes<\/p>\n<p>Hochul says that there are no income taxes on New Yorkers and that her &#8220;budget includes $14.6 billion in reserves and maintains the state\u2019s AA+ credit rating\u2014the best since 1972.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nextdoor.com\/page\/hudson-valley-post\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1764005171_799_attachment-No3_nextdoorpromo_newsletter.jpg\" alt=\"Follow Us on Nextdoor\" width=\"450\" height=\"113\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Governor said a three-year extension of the 7.25% corporate tax rate on companies earning more than $5 million-dollars a year will help pay for programs like universal childcare and investments in infrastructure and affordable housing.<\/p>\n<p>All of the governor&#8217;s plans need approval from the State Legislature, where Democrats have the majority.
