Brooklyn Beckham made some bombshell claims on his Instagram about his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, leaving them aghast. While the parents are still finding it hard to believe that their oldest son would go \u201cpublic\u201d with his rant<\/a>, sources say, their son doesn\u2019t \u201creally cares\u201d about hurting his parents.<\/p>\n

After Brooklyn Beckham went public with his rant and revealed that he no longer wishes to \u201creconcile\u201d<\/a> with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham were left stunned. While his father and mother are reportedly looking for ways to reach out to their son, sources say, Brooklyn has told friends he now \u201cdoesn\u2019t even refer to [David and Victoria] as parents.\u201d Moreover, with his move, he is \u201csetting boundaries\u201d with them.<\/p>\n

An insider confirmed the same to Daily Mail<\/a>, saying that Brooklyn calls his parents \u201cby their first names now.\u201d\u00a0Moreover, the source insisted that the 26-year-old \u201cdoesn\u2019t think estrangement is a bad thing at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

In fact, \u201che sees it as him setting boundaries, taking care of himself, watching out for his own mental health.\u201d\u00a0And although the photographer-turned-cook \u201cknows it hurts them,\u201d he doesn\u2019t \u201creally cares [care] right about now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beckham apparently took the step to go public with his message as he was \u201csick\u201d of his parents<\/a> fabricating stories about him, and his relationship with his beloved wife Nicola Peltz and parents, whom he once hailed as \u201cthe best mum and dad ever\u201d for the family values they instilled in him, as per the outlet.<\/p>\n

According to the tipsters, Beckham crafted his statement, which Nicola reportedly helped construct. \u201cNicola is part of it, for sure,\u201d said another insider, adding that \u201cshe definitely supports him in this.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the insider was quick to clarify that Nicola was \u201cnot the one who made the decision [to share the statement]. He did. She didn\u2019t tell him to do it. He decided to.\u201d The source further added, \u201cSo, you really can\u2019t blame her. This was something between him and them, and he decided it was time to take the nuclear option.\u201d<\/p>\n
