Three people were shot, two fatally, in an apparent murder-suicide in the Bronx on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Police responded to an apartment building on Johnson Avenue in the Riverdale section just before 8 a.m.<\/p>\n

A 55-year-old man and 59-year-old woman were found shot in the head. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

An 86-year-old woman was found shot in the face. She was taken to Harlem Hospital in critical but stable condition.<\/p>\n

Detectives believe the man fatally shot his sister, shot his mother and then shot himself.<\/p>\n

The man was discovered in the hallway, and a firearm was recovered next to him.<\/p>\n

A Port Authority Police Department identification was found near his body, and police believe he was a retired Port Authority Police officer.<\/p>\n

His sister was found in a bedroom, and their mother was then discovered in another part of the ground-floor apartment.<\/p>\n

Detectives are investigating the incident as a domestic shooting, and an apparent murder-suicide.<\/p>\n
