Police say a Brooklyn man has been arrested for spitting at an MTA employee and injuring two police officers who were attempting to detain him aboard a 6 train in Mott Haven.

Julian Cambell, 44, is accused of carrying out the attack just after 2 a.m. Thursday as the train arrived at the 3rd Avenue and East 138th St station.

Authorities say Cambell was acting in a disorderly manner and spat at the 53-year-old employee who ordered him to exit the train. Two officers responded and attempted to arrest Cambell, who resisted, injuring the officers.

EMS took the two officers to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where they received treatment for minor injuries.

The MTA employee was not injured, according to police.

Cambell is charged with assault, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, disorderly conduct and harassment.

Police say a Brooklyn man has been arrested for spitting at an MTA employee and injuring two police…

[36
211,98,100,99,3796,141,49071,9,24,63,4733
post-109135","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-brooklyn","tag-assault","tag-brooklyn","tag-brooklyn-headlines","tag-brooklyn-news","tag-mott-haven","tag-mta","tag-mta-employee","tag-new-york","tag-new-york-city","tag-nyc","tag-officer-assault
["GET
