{"id":109359,"date":"2026-01-23T03:04:25","date_gmt":"2026-01-23T03:04:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/109359\/"},"modified":"2026-01-23T03:04:25","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T03:04:25","slug":"sessa-capital-expands-to-10k-sf-at-vornados-888-seventh-avenue-commercial-observer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/109359\/","title":{"rendered":"Sessa Capital Expands to 10K SF at Vornado\u2019s 888 Seventh Avenue \u2013 Commercial Observer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Investment firm <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/company\/sessa-capital\/\" title=\"Sessa Capital\" class=\"company-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sessa Capital<\/a> is expanding its footprint in Manhattan, Commercial Observer has learned.<\/p>\n<p>The company, which specializes in trading stocks and options, grew to 10,000 square feet at <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/company\/vornado-realty-trust\/\" title=\"Vornado Realty Trust\" class=\"company-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Vornado Realty Trust<\/a>\u2019s 888 Seventh Avenue in a relocation from the 30th to the 40th floor of the building, according to a source familiar with the deal.<\/p>\n<p>SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/2026\/01\/jordan-rathlev-related-ross-west-palm-office-florida\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jordan Rathlev of Related Ross: 5 Questions<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The length of the lease is seven years, and asking rent in the building is $140 per square foot, the source said.<\/p>\n<p>Vornado\u2019s Ryan Levy handled the deal in-house for the landlord while Scott Bogetti, Will Joumas and Kirill Azovtsev of <a href=\"https:\/\/commercialobserver.com\/company\/savills\/\" title=\"Savills\" class=\"company-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Savills<\/a> represented Sessa Capital.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vornado did not immediately respond to a request for comment, while Savills declined to comment.<\/p>\n<p>Update: A previous version of this story listed Portage Point Partners and Protiviti as recent tenants at 888 Seventh Avenue.
