The Brooklyn Beckham feud with his parents has made people reevaluate not just what has happened between them the last few months, but what people have said about each party\u2014and particularly David<\/a> and Victoria Beckham<\/a>. Why Did Brooklyn Beckham & Lexi Wood Break Up?\"\"<\/p>\n

Brooklyn Beckham<\/a> and Lexi Wood started dating in 2018 after Beckham\u2019s split from Chloe Grace Moretz. The two were reportedly together for a year and split sometime in 2019. There are no reports about the reason they broke up, as the two kept the relationship pretty private.<\/p>\n

Despite that, Wood recently spoke about her experience with the Beckhams while appearing on an episode of\u00a0Nick Viall\u2019s \u201cThe Viall Files\u201d podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so funny because those are the types of families that I\u2019m used to,\u201d Wood said. \u201cLike, families that are in the industry that give each other advice, work with each other where they can, like, that are so close, travel together, live together. They do so much together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wood, who also dated Presley Gerber, Rande Gerber, and Cindy Crawford\u2019s son, explained that the Gerbers and the Beckhams were similar in that their mindset was \u201cyour family has your back, period.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI do feel like those families are great,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The Bravo star, a cast member of Summer House, was also very supportive of Beckham\u2019s relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. \u201cBrooklyn is in a great relationship, and I\u2019m so happy for him,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m the type of ex that I\u2019m actually friends with a lot of my exes and I want them to move on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooklyn Beckham recently spoke about the issues with his family, revealing that not only is the family in the middle of a feud, but he also has no intention of patching things up. \u201cI do not want to reconcile with my family,\u201d he said, and added, \u201cI\u2019m not being controlled, I\u2019m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also said, \u201cThe performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into. Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they\u2019ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Victoria and David Beckham are reportedly taking his comments hard. According to Rob Shuter<\/a>, the whole family is shocked. \u201cThey\u2019ve never seen him this angry or public before,\u201d\u00a0a source told the gossip columnist.\u00a0\u201cDavid and Victoria are stunned. They\u2019re trying to figure out how to protect their family name while respecting his boundaries, but honestly, they feel completely blindsided.\u201d<\/p>\n
