NEW YORK (TNND) \u2014 A New York man was arrested in connection to the rape of a 14-year-old girl, according to authorities. <\/p>\n

The New York Police Department (NYPD) on Tuesday said the Bronx Special Victims Squad arrested Jayvone Johnson, 34, of the Bronx, on Dec. 21, 2025. <\/p>\n

Police said the incident occurred about a year prior on Dec. 23, 2024. <\/p>\n

The department urged other potential victims to come forward by calling the NYPD’s Sex Crimes Hotline at 1-212-267-RAPE (7273), the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). <\/p>\n

Police said the public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at crimestoppers.nypdonline.org<\/a> or on X @NYPDTips.<\/p>\n
