There was an issue that he saw, though. \u201cIt was the timing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBasically Marc Anthony was performing on stage. He then called Brooklyn onto stage. Brooklyn went onto the stage, where the next bit, everyone is expecting it to be Nicola to go up and do the first dance. Marc Anthony asks the most beautifulest [sic] woman in the room to come to the stage. And then he says \u2018Victoria, come to the stage,\u2019\u201d he continued. \u201cVictoria is by the stage, she goes onto the stage. And of course at that point, Brooklyn is, like, suddenly literally devastated because he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife. Then Nicola leaves the room, crying her eyes out. Brooklyn\u2019s stuck there on stage and then they do this dance and Marc Anthony\u2019s like, \u2018Put your hands on your mother\u2019s hips.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
According to the DJ, the guests definitely noticed the tension. \u201cThe whole situation was really awkward for everyone in the room. I\u2019ve done an awful, awful lot of Beckham parties in the past. They are a very dance-y, close-knit family,\u201d he added. \u201cThey love to dance, right? So what we deem as inappropriate is not how Brooklyn feels. It\u2019s all about how Brooklyn feels. If he felt it was inappropriate and awkward, then it was inappropriate and awkward.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fat Tony does feel for everyone in the situation. \u201cI think what we\u2019re all missing here is the fact that the parents have lost their child \u2014 their son \u2014 and a son\u2019s lost his parents and the rest of his family.\u201d<\/p>\n
Brooklyn recently called out his parents on his Instagram Stories and told his version of events. \u201cMarc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead,\u201d he wrote in part. \u201cShe danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the lengthy posts, he claimed, among many things, that both his mother and father were trying to come between him and Peltz. Billboard previously reached out to Victoria and David Beckham for comment.<\/p>\n
