(WIBW) &#8211; A Manhattan man was arrested Friday, Jan. 22, in connection with rape. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the Riley County Police Department, the incident occurred on Thursday night. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers filed a report of rape around 11:19 a.m. on Friday, listing a 54-year-old woman as the victim and a 24-year-old man known to the victim as the suspect. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Griffin Day was arrested and booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with rape. \" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/DXITH35P3BAQLASSRXOREM7PVM.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"536\" \/>Griffin Day was arrested and booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with rape. (Submitted)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">As a result, Griffin Day was arrested around 3:15 p.m. in Manhattan. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He was issued a $200,000 bond and is confined in the Riley County Jail. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The investigation into the incident is still ongoing. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officials say no further information will be released due to the nature of the crime and investigation. <\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 WIBW.
