STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Pete Davidson<\/a> is still living his best minivan life.<\/p>\n

During an appearance Monday on \u201cThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,\u201d the Staten Island native joked that the stealth vehicle he bought now fits his life a little too perfectly. <\/p>\n

\u201cI bought a minivan for stealth,\u201d Davidson told Fallon. \u201cBut now I can actually use it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fallon, a fellow minivan evangelist, didn\u2019t hesitate to agree, calling it \u201cone of the greatest vehicles.\u201d Davidson, meanwhile, explained the appeal in more colorful terms. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the most unf—able car you will ever [drive],\u201d he said. \u201cNo one looks at you. You could be doing a heroin deal on the West Side Highway. Nobody will look at you in a minivan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Davidson recently worked with eBay to build out a fully customized \u201cdad van,\u201d<\/a> complete with a changing table, a mini fridge, a baby bottle warmer and, of course, a VHS player.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey put a VHS player in it,\u201d Davidson said. \u201cIt\u2019s awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fallon pressed him on the VHS collection, which Davidson admitted has grown far beyond what anyone might reasonably need.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s extensive,\u201d Davidson said. \u201cI\u2019m still doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The obsession traces back to the pandemic, when Davidson says he became convinced that sealed VHS tapes were going to skyrocket in value.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had a lot of fun during COVID and bought 10,000 VHS tapes sealed. I was like, \u2018They\u2019re sealed. They\u2019re never even opened. It\u2019s gonna go for millions.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

That prediction, unfortunately, did not pan out.<\/p>\n
