The drama surrounding the cast and crew of the BET+ original<\/a> series starring Eva Marcelle, \u201cAll the Queen\u2019s Men<\/a>,\u201d continues.<\/p>\n

After claiming that one of the show\u2019s stars, Skyh Black, who plays Amp \u201cAddiction\u201d Anthony, would show up to set under the influence in a Facebook post, the show\u2019s creator\u2014actor, model, and writer Christian Keyes\u2014has now been hit with a cease-and-desist from Black\u2019s legal team, according to TMZ<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the outlet, which obtained a copy of the legal document, Black has hired Marty Singer\u2019s legal team and is demanding that Keyes retract his statements and issue a public apology. The letter reportedly states this is the producer\u2019s \u201cfirst and last chance to avoid litigation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, after the network announced the fifth season would be the show\u2019s last, Keyes \u2014 whose series is based on his book \u201cLadies Night\u201d and follows a fierce male strip club owner in Atlanta \u2014 uploaded a video to Facebook explaining the show\u2019s cancellation while also sharing plans to expand the universe through spinoffs with another network.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He also spoke candidly about his frustrations with Tyler Perry and Tyler Perry Studios, claiming they \u201cruined\u201d his show with \u201cweird\u201d storylines, and revealed which characters would not be returning in the franchise\u2019s next chapter \u2014 including Black. The reason, he said, was the actor\u2019s alleged conduct on set, claiming he would show up inebriated.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t get to show up inebriated and brag about it, so yeah \u2026 Alvester Black won\u2019t be back. Skyh won\u2019t be back. He will be written out for that and other reasons,\u201d Keyes said in the video, which began with him playing a tiny violin. \u201cLike you don\u2019t laugh in my face about how high you are on my show.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to TMZ, Black\u2019s legal team called the statements about him \u201ctextbook defamation\u201d and suggested Keyes may have made them to distract from allegations about his own conduct on set. Keyes has been accused of \u201cbullying\u201d cast members, including Black, who claims Keyes once yelled at him and accused him of being \u201chigh as a kite\u201d in front of hundreds of cast and crew members.<\/p>\n

In the video, Keyes acknowledged being \u201cabrasive\u201d in one instance involving an actor.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had to check an actor about adlibbing. I could have done it gentler; it was a bit abrasive,\u201d he said. \u201cThe guy filed a workplace harassment claim \u2014 a false workplace harassment claim \u2014 because I checked for adlibbing on my show, and then he later retracted. He\u2019ll be gone, and I think he knows that as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cYou\u2019re not supposed to be adlibbing, and this is my show. This isn\u2019t the stand-up comedy hour.\u201d<\/p>\n

After teasing potential expansions of the \u201cATQM\u201d world \u2014 including a Vegas residency inspired by the franchise launching in real life alongside one in the show \u2014 Keyes reiterated that as he moves the franchise forward, he cannot have issues like alleged on-set intoxication due to insurance risks and other concerns.<\/p>\n

Addressing Tyler Perry Studios, he said he didn\u2019t have much authority over the project.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt [Tyler Perry Studios] I didn\u2019t really have any real authority. They didn\u2019t respect the fact that I was executive producer and creator. They always treated it like it was Tyler\u2019s show,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will be glad to take this wonderful creation somewhere where it will be celebrated and where I will be celebrated. Or at least accepted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Addressing his relationship with Perry, Keyes said he hadn\u2019t worked directly with him since 2007 and claimed Perry attempted to take his \u201ccreated by\u201d credit when the studio initially removed it, prompting him to involve the Writers Guild of America.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy would you try to steal from another Black creative and you said you\u2019re pro-Black? It\u2019s corny and it\u2019s lame,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Since the cease-and-desist, Keyes has removed the original post but has not issued a public apology.
