The Brooklyn mom accused of stuffing her lifeless 1-month-old son <\/a>into a duffel bag was cut loose on supervision during a late Monday court appearance \u2013 as prosecutors revealed the baby\u2019s corpse gave off a \u201cstrong odor of decomposition.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gynae Kendall, 25 \u2013 now charged with concealment of a human corpse \u2013 is accused of hiding the decaying body of her son, Adonnys, in the parcel and stashing it in a closet inside her Flatbush apartment, prosecutors said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kendall initially told responding cops \u2013 summoned to the scene on a wellness check requested by Adonnys\u2019 maternal grandmother Saturday \u2013 that the infant was with his dad and hadn\u2019t been at the home for two weeks, according to authorities and prosecutors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She provided \u201cvarying inconsistent statements about the child\u2019s whereabouts,\u201d prosecutors charged.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When the child\u2019s 30-year-old dad denied having the baby, cops returned to the seventh-floor unit and found the mom\u2019s alleged hiding place for her son\u2019s body, the sources said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe child was not breathing, his eyes were sunken, his skin was sloughing, and there was a strong odor of decomposition,\u201d the complaint filed in Kings County Criminal Court said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Adonnys was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS workers, and his mom was charged the next day, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
