In the women\u2019s 200-yard freestyle,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/queensathletics.com\/sports\/womens-swimming-and-diving\/roster\/abigail-zboran\/12799\" rel=\"smarttag external nofollow noopener\" rev=\"12799\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">Abigail Zboran<\/a>\u00a0secured the victory in 1:51.97. Weber won the men\u2019s 1650 yard freestyle by four seconds, posting a time of 15:39.84. Teammate freshman\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gwusports.com\/sports\/mens-swimming-and-diving\/roster\/victor-cury\/11336\" rel=\"smarttag external nofollow noopener\" rev=\"11336\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">Victor Cury<\/a> was third in the event in 15:50.17.<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gwusports.com\/sports\/mens-swimming-and-diving\/roster\/jillian-hawkins\/10581\" rel=\"smarttag external nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10581\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">Jillian Hawkins<\/a> posted a fourth-place run in the women\u2019s 200-yard freestyle. Hawkins finished with a solid time of 1:56.75 to finish as the highest GWU finisher. Senior <a href=\"https:\/\/gwusports.com\/sports\/mens-swimming-and-diving\/roster\/sara-michael-jann\/10554\" rel=\"smarttag external nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10554\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">Sara-Michael Jann<\/a>\u00a0was fifth in 1:59.03 while freshman\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gwusports.com\/sports\/mens-swimming-and-diving\/roster\/madison-richardson\/11340\" rel=\"smarttag external nofollow noopener\" rev=\"11340\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">Madison Richardson<\/a> was sixth in 1:59.09.<\/p>\n<p>In the men\u2019s 200-yard freestyle, sophomore <a href=\"https:\/\/gwusports.com\/sports\/mens-swimming-and-diving\/roster\/manuel-brandner\/10576\" rel=\"smarttag external nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10576\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">Manuel Brandner<\/a> placed sixth for the Runnin\u2019 Bulldogs, finishing with a time of 1:41.61.<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s 100-yard backstroke was one of the best events of the day for Gardner-Webb. Senior <a href=\"https:\/\/gwusports.com\/sports\/mens-swimming-and-diving\/roster\/hannah-routh\/10564\" rel=\"smarttag external nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10564\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">Hannah Routh<\/a>\u00a0was on the podium in 57.40 seconds, finishing third. Meanwhile, sophomore\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gwusports.com\/sports\/mens-swimming-and-diving\/roster\/kaitlyn-estes\/10580\" rel=\"smarttag external nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10580\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">Kaitlyn Estes<\/a> was fifth in 57.77 seconds, and junior Bella Palazzo was eighth in 59.04 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Gardner-Webb finished as high as fourth place in both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s 200 yard medley relays.
