Brooklyn Beckham publicly called out his parents for tainting their relationship in a series of Instagram Stories on Jan. 16.<\/p>\n

He accused his mom, Victoria Beckham, of hijacking the first dance at his wedding.<\/p>\n

Now, his wedding planner alleges that any family drama didn\u2019t exist, as they were \u201csurprised\u201d by his decision to cut his parents off. <\/p>\n

Ever since Brooklyn Beckham<\/a> slammed his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, for their alleged toxic tendencies, new headlines have continued to emerge about their rumored rift with his wife, Nicola Peltz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Part of Brooklyn\u2019s statement claimed that his mom attempted to \u201chijack\u201d his first dance with Nicola at their wedding…after she \u201ccanceled\u201d the custom gown she was reportedly designing for Brooklyn\u2019s bride. <\/p>\n

The latest development in the saga involves the couple\u2019s wedding planner, Preston Bailey, who alleges that \u201cthere wasn\u2019t any tension\u201d between the couple and Brooklyn\u2019s famous parents at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt surprises me that he is taking this stand against his parents,\u201d he told Page Six<\/a>. \u201cThat\u2019s not the Brooklyn I met, as far as him being this nice, gentle guy\u2026He was just a nice, regular person who would say hello and chit-chat.\u201d<\/p>\n

Preston continued, \u201cI can tell you about my experience with Brooklyn. While we were planning, clearly as far as the details for the design, he was very much involved. I have always thought of him as a gentle, decent guy. There was never any tension.\u201d<\/p>\n

The wedding planner also debunked any rumors that Nicola was \u201ccontrolling\u201d in the relationship and in the planning process, saying, \u201cI don\u2019t remember her being bossy. I remember a lot of affection between them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Preston was hired by Brooklyn and Nicole in April 2021, though he confirmed he never had direct interaction with the Beckhams. He had to step away from planning their nuptials after 11 months due to scheduling conflicts.<\/p>\n

Victoria and David have yet to publicly comment on Brooklyn\u2019s claims regarding their family dynamic.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, an insider told People<\/a>, \u201cDavid and Victoria love Brooklyn and are afraid of losing their son. They would take him back in a minute.\u201d A second source added, \u201cThe Beckhams have no intention of reconciling with their son unless Nicola is out of the picture.\u201d<\/p>\n
