King Charles and Queen Camilla were joined by members of the royal family this evening for the first film premiere to be hosted in a royal residence. The King and Queen were accompanied by Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester for the premiere of Finding Harmony: A King\u2019s Vision<\/a>, which will be available on Amazon Prime Video from February 6.<\/p>\n

Prince William and Kate were not at the event in the Castle\u2019s Waterloo Chamber this evening. However, famous guests included actress Judi Dench<\/a>, actor Stanley Tucci<\/a>, Sir Kenneth Branagh, and musician Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster. Actress Kate Winslet, who narrates the documentary and is an ambassador for Charles\u2019s charity The King\u2019s Foundation<\/a>, was scheduled to open the screening.<\/p>\n

\u201cFinding Harmony will chart how The King\u2019s Foundation, which is headquartered at its flagship regeneration project, Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland, has sparked a global Harmony movement,\u201d Buckingham Palace said in a statement. Filming took place last year. The program includes the King sharing his thoughts on the environment and watching archive footage of his previous speeches on the subject.<\/p>\n

Kate Winslet serves as the narrator for the film.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt all boils down to the fact that we are actually nature ourselves, we are a part of it, not apart from it, which is really how things are being presented for so long,\u201d the King says about his Harmony philosophy. \u201cMaybe, by the time I shuffle off this mortal coil, there might be a little more awareness\u2026 of the need to bring things back together again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harmony: A New Way of Looking at Our World<\/p>\n

\"Harmony:<\/a><\/p>\n

The documentary follows the publication of 2010 book Harmony<\/a> that the King co-wrote when he was the Prince of Wales. His co-authors Tony Juniper and Ian Skelly appear in the 90-minute film along with a host of experts, such as academics and leaders of projects across the world that work in tandem with nature. Subjects covered include the early reaction to Charles\u2019s public pronouncements on the environment and architecture, and also the way he was treated after saying in a 1986 interview that he talks to plants.<\/p>\n

The King\u2019s 2010 Harmony book is being republished by Harper Collins to coincide with the film launch. It will have a new cover and be available from March.<\/p>\n
