People in Brooklyn say they\u2019ve been experiencing power outages since Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n
Con Edison says the outages are weather-related.<\/p>\n
It says that when the roads are salted for snow, it can corrode the wires and cause issues.<\/p>\n
As of 5 p.m., the Con Edison map showed 180 people in Brooklyn are still without power and that it is expected be restored by 8 p.m.<\/p>\n
News 12 spoke with Bushwick resident Samara Lopez, who says she\u2019s also been without power and heat since Wednesday morning. <\/p>\n
“There was no heat in the morning, though, it came back later on and then turned back off. Yes, it will happen again.
