CLINTON, S.C. \u2013 The Presbyterian Blue Hose (2-0) captured the doubles point and swept all six singles matches to cruise past the Queens Royals (0-2), 7-0, at the Templeton Tennis Courts on Thursday afternoon.

\nDOUBLES
\nFor the second straight match, the Blue Hose captured the doubles point. PC won at number two and three doubles to claim the point. Queens collected a victory at number one doubles. At number two doubles, Presbyterian’s Daksh Prasad<\/a> and Eduardo Valentin<\/a> recorded a 6-4 win. Then, Presbyterian’s Dario Navarro<\/a> and Gabriel Godoy<\/a> posted a 6-2 win on court three to capture the doubles point.

\nSINGLES
\nPresbyterian won all six singles matches to claim the overall victory. At number five singles, Presbyterian’s Navarro cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win. On court two, Prasad tallied a 6-3, 6-3 win. At number four singles, Presbyterian’s Valentin clinched the overall victory with a 6-1, 6-4 win. On court one, Presbyterian’s David Mamalat<\/a> lost the first set to Queens Jan Montero Diaz before storming back to take a 5-4 lead in the second set before Montero Diaz retired, giving the victory to Mamalat. At number three singles, Presbyterian’s Matija Samardzic<\/a> collected a 7-5, 6-1 win. Godoy completed the Blue Hose singles sweep with a 6-3, 6-3 win on court six.
