ASTORIA, Queens (WABC) — One woman died and another was critically injured in a fire in the Astoria section of Queens.<\/p>\n

The fire broke out on the third floor of the apartment building on 35th Street just after 10:50 p.m. on Thursday.<\/p>\n

A woman in her 90s was found unconscious and unresponsive. She was rushed to Mount Sinai Queens, where she was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

Another woman, a 61-year-old, was taken to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition<\/p>\n

The cause of the fire is under investigation.<\/p>\n
