Legendary Queen guitarist Brian May has said the band will not tour in the US any time soon, saying it has become “a dangerous place”.<\/p>\n

The band has not played a show since February 2014, but it appears that if they were to announce new gigs they would not be stateside.<\/p>\n

In comments to the Daily Mail<\/a>, Sir Brian said: “America is a dangerous place at the moment, so you have to take that into account.<\/p>\n

“It’s very sad because I feel like Queen grew up in America and we love it, but it’s not what it was.<\/p>\n

“Everyone is thinking twice about going there at the moment.”<\/p>\n

It comes as concerns about extra checks at the border and political tensions appear to be deterring travellers from visiting America.<\/p>\n

Sir Brian also said he would not play at Glastonbury Festival next year, despite it being in the UK and not the US.<\/p>\n
