The dad of a Florida woman charged with posing as a teen<\/a> to molest five middle-school-age boys has bizarrely claimed to The Post his daughter is \u201cmentally defective\u201d and the real victim of the sex crimes.<\/p>\n

Before Alyssa Ann Zinger, 25, was arrested for allegedly having sex with underage boys, the accused pedophile grew up in a \u201cgood Christian home\u201d in suburban Tampa \u2014 but dealt with a myriad of mental disorders, including ADHD, ADD, OCD, Tourette\u2019s syndrome and anorexia, according to her father, Josh Zinger<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cShe had a lot of problems growing up. Our daughter has been to 10 to 12 psychologists and psychiatrists throughout her life,\u201d the 55-year-old dad said, adding that Zinger once scored a 72 on an intelligence quotient test \u2014 well below the assessment\u2019s 100-point average.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Alyssa Zinger is the \u201creal victim\u201d of the underage sex crimes she\u2019s accused of committing, her father told The Post. Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s defective \u2014 mentally defective. And do you know what that means under the law? If somebody is mentally defective and has sex with somebody, no matter their age, it\u2019s illegal to have sex with a mentally defective person,\u201d Josh fumed.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn all actuality, she is the victim.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zinger, then 22, was first arrested in November 2023<\/a> for allegedly engaging in at least 30 sexual acts with a boy between the ages of 12 and 15 after creating a fake persona on social media as a homeschooled 14-year-old in order to lure in underage victims, prosecutors said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But it was the boy \u2014 whom Josh distastefully dubbed \u201cthe little bastard\u201d \u2014 who seduced Zinger and even took her virginity, her father alleged.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThat boy found her [social media] account, found her dancing like a 13-year-old on it and said, \u2018Hey, girl, I\u2019ll Uber you to my $5,000-a-month apartment \u2014 come on and hang out,\u2019 \u201d the dad said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then when she got there, she never said she wasn\u2019t 14 to him, but he knew her real age, and he knew she was mentally unstable,\u201d Josh claimed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The suspect\u2019s father, Josh, says his daughter grew up in a \u201cgood Christian home\u201d in suburban Tampa but dealt with a myriad of mental disorders. Law&Crime<\/p>\n

Over the next five months, the young boy \u201chid\u201d Zinger in his family\u2019s ritzy, downtown Tampa apartment, her dad claimed. The child introduced her to his other middle-school-age friends, four of whom would become additional alleged victims in the state\u2019s case against her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe boy who harbored her in his house for five months \u2014 he\u2019s the one who introduced her to his friends, and they all were like, \u2018Hey, this girl is 14,\u2019 wink, wink, high-five, high-five, \u2018Your turn, bud,\u2019 \u201d Josh said, adding that \u201cthis all will be proven in court.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere will be no plea deal, there will be no sex offender registry, she\u2019ll get time served and adios,\u201d the father predicted.<\/p>\n

Five months after Zinger\u2019s first arrest, in April 2024, authorities identified the four more alleged victims, all of whom reportedly attended Wilson Middle School in Tampa\u2019s Hyde Park neighborhood.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since then, Zinger has remained in jail without bail on felony charges of lewd or lascivious battery, lewd or lascivious molestation, possession of child pornography, in-state transmission of child pornography by an electronic device and sexual cyber harassment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to her father, the clink hasn\u2019t treated the accused predator well \u2014 with there being \u201cs\u2013t in her food all the time; fingernails, hair, objects, plastic, because whoever was making her food knew who she was, and they knew that that food was going to a pedophile,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Zinger has remained in jail without bail since she was arrested for a second time on underage sex crime charges in April 2024. WFLA<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we go to court, we\u2019re going to chem \u2018em all up, flip this around,\u201d Josh said. <\/p>\n

Zinger\u2019s trial is scheduled to begin May 26.<\/p>\n

The first victim told police he and Zinger had sex multiple times and that she sent him explicit photos and videos, while another said she sent a video depicting sexual intercourse to several children through Snapchat, according to arrest documents. <\/p>\n
