STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 The Staten Island Mall is welcoming 10 new tenants to its retail portfolio in 2026 and has announced the renovation and expansion of at least five other stores. According to a representative from GGP, the company that manages the site, leasing activity is on the rise at the New Springville shopping center.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe love seeing our retailer partners allocating their hard-earned capital into the malls they have and continue to believe in for the long run,\u201d noted the rep from GGP, which recently rebranded from Brookfield Properties.<\/p>\n
Detailing full remodels and updates at Swarovski, Pandora, Victoria\u2019s Secret and Journeys, the rep also shared a list of stores that have signed upcoming leases and are at various stages of completion at the center.<\/p>\n
Several big-name brands are part of that roster, including TJ Maxx, which will take over a free-standing space that formerly housed the Container Store<\/a>, and PacSun, which is anticipated to open this summer.<\/a><\/p>\n Here\u2019s a look at the new additions:<\/p>\n Offline by Aerie: This activewear and lifestyle brand was launched in 2020 by Aerie, which is owned by American Eagle Outfitters. According to the company\u2019s website, the store offers a collection of leggings, sports bras, tops, and accessories, with a focus on soft fabrics, sustainable materials, and inclusive sizing. <\/p>\n Free People Movement: The activewear line from the clothing brand Free People, this store will offer performance-oriented workout gear for yoga, running, hiking, and daily wear. <\/p>\n Pokiddo: This indoor playground\/family entertainment center will soon open in the space formerly occupied by Sears. This will be the brand\u2019s second location in the United States. <\/p>\n Apple: The Apple store, a mall tenant since 2005, is expanding and will soon encompass 8,000 square feet of selling space.<\/p>\n Jack & Jones: This popular Danish brand, known for its denim and classic urban sportswear, recently opened on the lower level. This is the company\u2019s third store in the United States.<\/p>\n PacSun: Famous for its California-inspired, surf\/skate aesthetic, this popular brand is anticipated to open a store on the lower level of the JCPenney wing this summer. <\/p>\n TJ Maxx: The popular off-price retailer known for selling brand-name and designer merchandise at significant discounts, will open its fourth Staten Island store at the Mall this summer, taking over a free-standing space that formerly housed the Container Store.<\/p>\n Kajiken Ramen: This Japanese restaurant chain specializes in Aburasoba, a brothless, \u201csoupless\u201d ramen tossed in soy sauce, savory oils, and various toppings. Founded in 2010, the chain is known for its customizable bowls.<\/p>\n Top Pot: A popular, all-you-can-eat restaurant franchise, this newest eatery specializes in a combination of Korean BBQ and Chinese hot pot. Diners cook their own meats, seafood, and vegetables at table-mounted grills and pots as part of this interactive dining experience. <\/p>\n Go Playland: This recently opened indoor playground is designed for children ages 1 through 12 and features climbing walls, slides, ball pits and trampolines. It provides all-day, \u201ccome and go\u201d passes for open play.<\/p>\n D1 Sport Training: This fitness franchise offers athletic-based training for all ages, modeled after Division 1 college sports programs and focused on speed, strength and agility.
