Victoria Beckham gushed over her \u201cclose family\u201d<\/a> despite an ongoing feud with her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz.<\/p>\n

While speaking to Alex Cooper on Wednesday\u2019s episode of \u201cCall Her Daddy,\u201d<\/a> the former Spice Girl talked about the hardest part of stepping back and letting her kids make decisions as adults. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re such a close family and communication is key. And we always let them know that whatever they want to talk about, this is a safe forum. That\u2019s really important,\u201d Victoria \u2014 who shares daughter Harper, 14, and sons Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, with husband David Beckham \u2014 said.<\/p>\n

However, she recognized that her children have \u201cgot to go on their journeys themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Victoria went on to rail against those \u201cconstantly calling the children of famous parents nepo babies,\u201d quipping, \u201cGive the kids a chance. It\u2019s not their fault, you know?<\/p>\n

\u201cJust give the kids a chance,\u201d she continued. \u201cOur kids are genuinely all really good, sweet, kind, human beings [and] hardworking. They don\u2019t expect anything to just happen [for them].\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer-turned-fashion designer also addressed how she and David handle \u201cconversations\u201d about their family.<\/p>\n

\u201cAgain, it\u2019s about communicating, and we\u2019ve always been that way with the kids,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m excited for them. They\u2019re all very different, [and] they all like to do different things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Victoria, 51, shared the same sentiment <\/a>during a September interview with Elle, gushing that they \u201clike to have fun\u201d as a family. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe like to spend time all together. We\u2019re a very traditional family, much more than I think people would realize,\u201d she pointed out.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always tried to be the best mom and wife that I can be,\u201d she added, noting, \u201cIt\u2019s healthy that the children know Daddy goes to work and Mommy goes to work. Working makes me the best version of me.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the last couple of months, Brooklyn and Peltz have fueled feud rumors the Beckhams after they\u00a0opted out of attending David\u2019s 50th birthday party<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In June, sources told Page Six the young chef hasn\u2019t responded to those attempting to reach out to him \u2014 and that he even informed his family he\u00a0wanted no contact<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Victoria previously called their family a \u201ctraditional\u201d one. davidbeckham\/Instagram<\/p>\n

Since then, the couple have been absent from many family events, including vacations, Victoria\u2019s Paris Fashion Week show<\/a> and his mom\u2019s eponymous Netflix documentary premiere<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Beckhams, in turn, have been excluded from big moments in Brooklyn and Peltz\u2019s lives, including their vow renewal<\/a> in August.<\/p>\n

In September, Brooklyn broke his silence on the rumored tension<\/a>, telling DailyMail, \u201cThere\u2019s always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we\u2019re happy,\u201d he insisted.<\/p>\n

He also gave the outlet the cold shoulder<\/a> when asked about his mom\u2019s documentary during the red carpet of his Blue Moon Burger Bash 2.0 in October.<\/p>\n

The rest of the family members have similarly remained tight-lipped, though Cruz has been caught making some rather cryptic social media posts<\/a>.
