LP Media for NY Post<\/p>\n<p>A source close to the deliberations said Cuomo won\u2019t be receiving compensation, so he can speak his mind and avoid conflicts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a moment when our country has rarely felt more divided, politics more polarizing and public discourse more toxic,\u201d Cuomo said in a statement to The Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPulse of the People is about cutting through the noise and the rancor to have real, substantive, fact-based conversations about the issues that actually affect people\u2019s lives. I\u2019ve spent my career focused on making government work and getting results, and that\u2019s the same straight-forward, problem-solving approach I\u2019ll bring to this program.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/11\/17\/us-news\/zohran-mamdanis-biggest-hater-john-catsimatidis-now-calling-for-top-nyc-conservatives-to-work-with-incoming-socialist-mayor\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WABC owner John Catsimatidis<\/a> welcomed Cuomo to his radio team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe show will focus on listener calls and open discussion about the issues, concerns, and views of New Yorkers. James Messerschmidt for NY Post<\/p>\n<p>Cuomo today will be taking calls from viewers after giving opening remarks.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the first major public move by the Democrat since his failed comeback bid for mayor last year, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/11\/04\/us-news\/andrew-cuomo-lost-to-mamdani-in-nyc-mayoral-election-lost-ends-cuomo-family-political-dynasty\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">losing to Mayor Zohran Mamdani<\/a> in the Democratic primary and then the general election, when he ran on an independent line.<\/p>\n<p>Cuomo served as governor from 2011 to 2021, before <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/08\/10\/andrew-cuomo-resigns-as-governor-of-new-york\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">resigning over sexual misconduct accusations<\/a> that he denies.<\/p>\n<p>He previously served as state attorney general and federal housing secretary under Bill Clinton.<\/p>\n<p>The Post reported last month that Cuomo and Catsimatidis were in discussions about hosting a radio gig.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"New Yorkers haven\u2019t heard the last of Andrew Cuomo.
