STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 The King of Staten Island traded in his title in for White House border czar in the latest episode of Saturday Night Live.<\/p>\n
Pete Davidson, almost unrecognizable dressed as Thomas Homan \u2014 the executive associate Director of Enforcement and Removal Operations \u2014 opened SNL behind a White House podium with a slew of, quote-unquote, ICE agents in front of him. <\/p>\n
\u201cNow, I\u2019m sure a lot of you are wondering why Greg Bovino, the last guy, was dismissed. I want to stress that it wasn\u2019t because he did a bad job or publicly lied about the shooting of an American citizen or even \u2014 uh-oh! \u2014 dressed like a Nazi,\u201d Davidson said. \u201cIt was that he was filmed doing these things. And the president no likey that. So I\u2019m here now, and we need to tighten up.\u201d <\/p>\n
Davidson inquired as to what the mission of ICE is in Minneapolis to the crowd of agents with varying answers, including: \u201cPass,\u201d \u201cWild\u2019n out,\u201d and \u201cThis could be wrong, but\u2026 Army?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re here to detain and deport illegal immigrants who have committed crimes,\u201d Davidson corrected. <\/p>\n
\u201cThat is literally the first I\u2019m hearing of that,\u201d an agent said. <\/p>\n
\u201cForget everything you were told before. We\u2019re not here to intimidate, racially profile, or violate anyone\u2019s rights. So, again, what are we looking for?\u201d Davidson asked. <\/p>\n
An agent replied, \u201cEpstein files?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNope. Nope. Uh, we actually just released those to distract from this, you know, which is ironic, because we did this to distract from those,\u201d Davidson explained. <\/p>\n
The skit continues on, prodding at real ICE agents\u2019 use of force, former CNN anchor Don Lemon\u2019s arrest, gun rights at protests, Homan\u2019s record of taking bribes, destroying evidence, and the Super Bowl. <\/p>\n
