\u201cWill & Grace\u201d actress Debra Messing blacked the horrific gridlock outside a hospital in New York City as snow remains piled up on the streets a full week after Winter Storm Fern passed \u2014 and said that Mayor Mamdani is to blame.<\/p>\n
Messing, 57, bemoaned a trip to an appointment that dragged on for more than an hour early Saturday morning after her taxi encountered bumper-to-bumper traffic while an ambulance tried to squeeze through.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe streets are a disaster. It hasn\u2019t snowed in 5 days and the streets still haven\u2019t been cleared. Poor ambulance sitting in [essentially] a parking lot with sirens going. I\u2019m praying for the person needing emergency care,\u201d she wrote in a post on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve lived here for 15 years (this go around) and this has never happened. The plows have always worked around the clock to get the city back to working. I wonder what happened? Hang in there New Yorkers,\u201d the Brooklyn-born, NYU-educated star quipped.<\/p>\n Messing suggested that Mayor Zohran Mamdani is the reason snow is still sitting in the streets. REUTERS<\/p>\n Though Messing didn\u2019t call out Mamdani by name, many linked her sarcastic sign-off to her past critiques of the self-declared socialist. <\/p>\n Messing, who voted for Andrew Cuomo in the mayoral election, crashed out on social media<\/a> in November and posted a series of memes labeling Mamdani an \u201cAmerican-hating jihadist\u201d and crudely nicknaming him \u201cOsama bin Mamdani.\u201d<\/p>\n Since then, she\u2019s largely avoided mentioning Mamdani online. But the snowstorm tested her resolve \u2014 and many agreed with her sly jab at hizzoner over the state of the streets.<\/p>\n Messing previously shared Islamophobic memes about Mamdani on Instagram. AFP via Getty Images<\/p>\n When Winter Storm Fern blanketed the city in snow on Jan. 25, Mamdani assured that city employees would be working \u201caround the clock\u201d<\/a> to keep \u201cthe city moving.\u201d<\/p>\n Over the last week, trash has piled up on the sidewalks in the Upper East Side \u2014 though notably not around Gracie Mansion<\/a> \u2014 and heaps of snow remain at every crosswalk. <\/p>\n Trash is starting to pile up on the sidewalks.
