Police say one person is in critical condition after a four-alarm fire ripped through a building in Highbridge. <\/p>\n
The FDNY says it happened at 1215 Grand Concourse shortly after 12:26 a.m. <\/p>\n
The fire initially started in the attic of the building and rose all the way to a four-alarm fire in under an hour. It forced residents onto the streets in the bitter cold, to watch their homes go up in flames. <\/p>\n
One person was rushed to the hospital who was severely hurt, they’re fighting for their life. Fire officials say they were able to get that fire under control in a little under two hours.<\/p>\n
