Savannah Guthrie has spoken out following the news that her mom Nancy Guthrie, 84, is missing in Arizona.<\/a><\/p>\n

The \u201cToday\u201d anchor, 54, skipped Monday\u2019s episode of the NBC morning talk show. Sheinelle Jones took her place alongside Craig Melvin at the 7:00 hour.<\/p>\n

But a statement from Savannah was shared on the show regarding her mom being missing.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and messages of support,\u201d the statement read. \u201cRight now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department at 520-351-4900,\u201d Savannah added.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the Guthrie family told The Post in a statement, \u201cWe can confirm this is a missing persons case, and the family is working closely with local law enforcement. If anyone has any information, please\u00a0contact the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department at\u00a0520-351-4900. The family is grateful for the outreach, thoughts and prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nancy was last seen at her home in Catalina Foothills, north of Tucson, at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday and was reported missing the next day, according to the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

The 84-year-old was described as being in \u201cnot of good physical health\u201d and a \u201cvulnerable adult.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0At\u00a0a press conference<\/a>, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos stated that one of Nancy\u2019s relatives made a 911 call around noon Sunday to report her missing.<\/p>\n

Homicide detectives were also scouring the elderly woman\u2019s home, which was not standard protocol for a missing person case, authorities said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve pretty much thrown everything at this as we can,\u201d Nanos said about the search mission. \u201cI don\u2019t need to tell you, this is very concerning to us; we don\u2019t typically get the sheriff out on a scene like this but it is very concerning.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nanos added that there\u2019s \u201cgrave concern\u201d for Nancy wellbeing.<\/p>\n

Nancy has made various guest appearances on \u201cToday\u201d over the years since Savannah joined the show in 2011.<\/p>\n

Savannah was just absent from \u201cToday\u201d for several weeks to recover from vocal chord surgery. <\/a><\/p>\n

She returned to the show Jan. 23 and shared a segment that documented her journey with her voice, including the moment she cried over hearing her new voice for the first time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so grateful to all of you at this place and my bosses at NBC, who have been nothing but supportive.
