Stacey was at the top of her game in poshness and pizzazz. But when it came to cutting a curvy hourglass figure, the svelte NYC siren came in dead last.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Until she spent nearly $45,000 getting her hips and rear pumped full of a dead person\u2019s donor fat, that is.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt can sound jarring at first,\u201d Stacey, 34, a married financial specialist, told The Post. \u201cBut when you look at it scientifically, cadaver donor tissue [the process of removing bone, skin, and tendons from a deceased donor] has been used in medicine for decades.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stacey, who asked to conceal her identity while posing for The Post, says the use of cadaver donor fat has given her slender frame some much needed oomph. Emmy Park<\/p>\n
The Manhattanite, who asked that her last name be withheld, used the harvested human remains for a mini-Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). She also relied on the borrowed goods to fill her hip dips \u2014 and to revise a botched liposuction job on her inner left thigh.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s highly regulated and ethically sourced,\u201d she raved of the donations from the dearly departed. \u201cIt\u2019s like we\u2019re recycling.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sure, it\u2019s not turning empty soda cans into airplane parts. But giving new life to the fallen fat is how AlloClae \u2014 a glamorous, albeit\u00a0ghoulish, new advancement<\/a>\u00a0in non-surgical cosmetic enhancements \u2014 is helping slim centerfolds in NYC and beyond achieve the BBLs and boob jobs of their wildest dreams.\u00a0<\/p>\n And it\u2019s different from all the other nonsurgical enlargements<\/a> on the market because, well, it\u2019s reliant on people who\u2019ve kicked the bucket.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re suddenly worried that ticking the organ donor box on your driver\u2019s license could mean you wind up on someone else\u2019s behind in the afterlife, it\u2019s not that simple \u2014\u00a0the fat can come from full body donations, which are handled in the Empire State by the Associated Medical Schools of New York, which requires a separate, no limitations sign-up.<\/p>\n Donors must be over the age of 18 and devoid of specific medical conditions such as transmittable disease and having undergone an autopsy.<\/p>\n Stacey tells The Post that her AlloClae enhancements have greatly improved her self-esteem. Courtesy Dr. Darren Smith\/ Emmy Park<\/p>\n Darren Smith, the board-certified plastic surgeon<\/a> who performed Stacey\u2019s procedures with AlloClae, explained that the injectable \u201cfunctions as an off-the-shelf-fat graft.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a tremendous asset for patients who are pretty lean, fit and don\u2019t have a lot of fat of their own,\u201d Smith told The Post, adding that the shot comes as a minimally invasive alternative to going under the knife.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI get a lot of liposuction revision requests from people who underwent the surgery at other practices,\u201d said the doc, president of the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons. \u201cAlloClae is awesome for those too, because the last thing those patients want is more liposuction to harvest fat to fix an area with divots.\u201d<\/p>\n (L) Stacey\u2019s bum was flat and misshapen before she opted for her BBL in October. Dr. Darren Smith<\/p>\n AlloClae, from Tiger Aesthetics, a tissue engineering company, is the \u201cfirst structural adipose tissue designed for aesthetic body procedures, providing cushioning, volume and support,\u201d according to its website<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Sterilized and stripped of the donor\u2019s DNA, the filler \u201cretains the innate 3D honeycomb structure of the adipocytes (cells that store energy as fat) to provide immediate volume at the application site.\u201d<\/p>\n The company does not specify where exactly the fat they use comes from. Representatives for Tiger Aesthetics did not immediately respond to The Post\u2019s inquiries about the production, cadaver screening process or the rising popularity of AlloClae, which hit the market in 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n Now everyone, from the upper echelon of the Upper East Side to reality TV VIPs like \u201cSecret Lives of Mormon Wives\u201d star Taylor Frankie Paul<\/a>, is scrambling to get a jab of the specialized flab.\u00a0<\/p>\n Smith and other plastic surgeons must undergo an extensive training process before becoming certified to use AlloClae. Emmy Park<\/p>\n Stacey got her first hit of the stuff in June, when she rushed to Smith\u2019s Midtown Manhattan office, seeking help with a \u201cshark bite\u201d-sized hole in her thigh caused by a lipo-gone-wrong operation done by another doctor in September 2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n At the time, she\u2019d opted to have the excess fat from her leg transferred into her face for added volume.<\/p>\n But the bungled extraction ended up being a great big pain in the neck.<\/p>\n \u201cI was left with this giant dent in my inner thigh, and I spent the next six years and [roughly $80,000] trying to fix it with more liposuction,\u201d she groaned. \u201cNothing could fix it. It turned me into a recluse. I wouldn\u2019t wear shorts, go swimming anymore or workout.\u201d<\/p>\n AlloClae is an injectable that uses sterilized cadaver fat to create volume and structure in areas plastic surgery patients wish to enhance, sans undergoing an invasive procedure. Emmy Park<\/p>\n \u201cAlloClae was my very, very last resort,\u201d said Stacey, who was admittedly \u201cskeptical\u201d of the viability of substance at first. \u201cIt is remarkable.\u201d<\/p>\n After the product worked its macabre magic on her leg and hips last summer, the millennial returned to Smith for a mini BBL in October. It\u2019s considered a \u201cmini\u201d op due to the small amount of filler added to the butt. Smith applied just 50 CCs of AlloClae to each side of her bum.\u00a0(For traditional BBLs, doctors typically add between 300 to 500 CCs of fat to the area, per the Cleveland Clinic<\/a>).<\/p>\n And Stacey plans to add a few more pumps of AlloClae to her rump next month.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI used to get bullied for not having any butt whatsoever,\u201d she said. \u201cNow, I\u2019m getting checked out like crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy husband\u2019s like, \u2018Whoa, you can\u2019t go anywhere without me now!,\u2019\u201d giggled the head-turner.\u00a0<\/p>\n Katrina Daphne, a married mother of two, is, too, keeping heads on a swivel nowadays.\u00a0<\/p>\n Katrina tells The Post that she gifted herself a breast augmentation with implants and AlloClae in celebration of her birthday last year.
