But sources told The Post that \u2014 contrary to reports \u2014 the Nets haven\u2019t called Milwaukee about the Greek superstar.<\/p>\n<p>For years, Brooklyn general manager Sean Marks hoarded assets in case Antetokounmpo ever decided he wanted to leave Milwaukee and was made available. <\/p>\n<p>Now that the Nets <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/29\/sports\/tanking-nets-should-make-push-for-giannis-antetokounmpo\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">committed to a tank<\/a> before last season, the two-time MVP is finally open to bolting the Bucks.<\/p>\n<p>ClutchPoints <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/golden-state-warriors\/inside-warriors-all-in-giannis-antetokounmpo-pursuit-nba-trade-deadline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">reported<\/a> that the Nets \u2014 along with the archrival Knicks, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves and Toronto Raptors \u2014 have already reached out to Milwaukee to discuss Antetokounmpo. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Giannis Antetokounmpo will be the most sought-after player at Thursday\u2019s NBA trade deadline.
