STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Pete Davidson<\/a> and Elsie Hewitt<\/a> are reportedly thinking about marriage as they prepare to welcome their first child together.<\/p>\n

A source told \u201cPeople\u201d<\/a> the couple has \u201ctalked about marriage and are very committed to each other,\u201d adding that while an engagement is likely, \u201cthey\u2019re not in a rush.\u201d Another insider said the two are \u201cvery in love,\u201d and their focus right now is \u201con welcoming a healthy baby.\u201d <\/p>\n

The Staten Island native, 31, and the model, 29, reportedly got together in March and made their red carpet debut two months later at the Endometriosis Foundation\u2019s Blossom Ball in New York City. <\/p>\n

In July, Hewitt announced the news of her pregnancy on Instagram with a carousel of photos and videos of the couple<\/a>, including Davidson with a hand on her stomach, a sonogram image and a SpongeBob meme that read: \u201cOne of y\u2019all hiding your pregnancy I can feel it.\u201d She captioned the post: \u201cwelp now everyone knows we had sex.\u201d<\/p>\n

Davidson has been open about his excitement for fatherhood<\/a>, telling \u201cThe Breakfast Club<\/a>\u201d radio show this summer that becoming a dad is something he\u2019s wanted \u201csince I was young.\u201d He spoke about losing his father, an FDNY firefighter, in the 9\/11 terrorist attacks, saying \u201cI always wanted to be a dad because I felt so crappy and I wanted to make sure that a kid didn\u2019t feel that way or have to go through what I went through \u2026 I couldn\u2019t be more stoked. It\u2019s going to be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Most recently, Davidson surprised Hewitt with a private jet trip to Minnesota to see Paul McCartney perform live, even arranging a backstage meeting with the Beatles legend. <\/p>\n

\u201cThat was really like a special lil bucket list moment for me,\u201d Hewitt wrote in an Instagram story. \u201c[Paul is] pretty much the one person I\u2019ve always wanted to meet. Do I have the sweetest most thoughtful boyf[riend] ever or wat hehehe?\u201d<\/p>\n
