Riley<\/p>\n<p>(JERSEY CITY, NJ) &#8212; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.njcu.edu\/community\/center-arts\/galleries\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New Jersey City University (NJCU) Visual Arts Gallery<\/a> presents Home Here from February 5 through March 5, 2026. This is a site-specific installation that combines the work of 11 artists identifying as women living in Jersey City.<\/p>\n<p>Curated by alumna Lucy Rovetto (1991 BFA), the show will explore themes of history and memory. The installation will be designed as a continuous flow where works will overlap, interact, and sometimes have no clear boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>The featured artists include\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.laiacabrera.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Laia Cabrera<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nicoledemaiomusic.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nicole DeMaio<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.isabelleduverger.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Isabelle Duverger<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jazgraf.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jaz Graf<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/katelynhalperndotcom\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Katelyn Halpern<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jinjung.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jin Jung<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.patlay.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Pat Lay<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/tinamanecaart\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Tina Maneca<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cherylrriley.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Cheryl R. Riley<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jrobertsstudio\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jennifer Roberts<\/a>.\u00a0 The exhibition also honors the work of Ward Mount, a painter, sculptor, educator, and former chair of the Art Department at NJCU (then Jersey City State Teacher\u2019s College) in the 1940s. Historian Martin Pierce will illuminate Ward Mount&#8217;s contributions through his research.<\/p>\n<p>There will be an Opening Reception on Ferbuary 5 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The New Jersey City University\u00a0Visual Arts Gallery is located in the\u00a0Lower Level, Visual Arts Building (100 Culver Avenue) in Jersey City, New Jersey.<\/p>\n<p>Please note: The NJCU Harold B. Lemmerman Gallery remains closed until further notice due to major repairs. &#8220;Winifred McNeill: Between Air and Earth&#8221; will be held at the Visual Arts Gallery from March 16 to April 10, with the reception on Wednesday, March 18 from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
