A vehicle drove into the Queens Quay streetcar tunnel leading to Union Station and got stuck, according to the TTC.<\/p>\n
The TTC posted on X at approximately noon on Tuesday, saying there is no streetcar service between Queen Quay West at Lower Spadina and Union Station on both 509 and 510 streetcar routes due to an auto stuck on the tracks. Shuttle buses are running to replace the streetcars.<\/p>\n
A dark coloured Honda sedan appears to have driven down the tunnel, which begins near York Street, and managed to get as far as the platform at the Queens Quay Terminal stop.<\/p>\n
TTC crews were seen operating a hydraulic rail crane to extract the vehicle from the tunnel. <\/p>\n
