The cooler struck Duprey\u2019s head, knocking him off the bike and killing him.<\/p>\n<p>Leaders of Black Lives Matter Greater New York say he was wrongfully targeted in the 2023 undercover narcotics operation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bronx.news12.com\/trial-begins-for-nypd-sergeant-from-putnam-county\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Duran pleaded not guilty<\/a> to manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide.
