You may have noticed that slouchy handbags are all the rage right now. You may also be aware that one reigns supreme — the Coach Brooklyn Shoulder Bag. The leather carryall is effortlessly cool and surprisingly practical. It comes in two sizes, and both are big enough to tote all of your essentials and then some.

Model Bella Hadid first helped catapult the bag into the spotlight when she was spotted carrying a black leather version over the summer, and then (of course) it went viral on TikTok and Instagram among fashion influencers. Not surprisingly, the brown suede version was a big hit come fall. What’s that? You’d like to get your hands on one? Well, it will cost you somewhere between $295 and $495. But we have some good news: We found a similar handbag at Amazon, so you can still get the look — and it costs at least 10 times less.

This slouchy tote comes in eight colors and has a super soft vegan leather that feels like the real deal.

The bag’s soft faux leather features a flat grain that’s just as supple and versatile as the real thing. It comes in eight colors, including brown, red and classic black, and while the slouchy style seems to be all about having a laid-back vibe, it’s also stealthily practical. At 18 inches tall and nearly 16 inches wide, it can double as a work bag to tote your laptop in. And to ensure everything stays organized, it has a magnetic snap at the top to keep it closed, a small interior pocket and a built-in keychain strap.

The ‘it bag’ of the season doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg.

“This is a pretty bag that’s right on trend and looks expensive,” wrote one Amazon shopper.

“I was pleasantly surprised with the look, feel and, most of all, the quality of this bag (for the price!). It is beautiful, soft vegan leather and it looks great!” said another.

“Looks and feels like real leather,” confirmed an impressed customer. “Very soft and slouches perfectly. It’s also the perfect size for me. I need enough room for all my stuff, but I don’t want an enormous handbag. It has one small pocket inside and an inside cord to connect your keys, so you can find them easily. I get compliments all the time and people can’t believe it isn’t real leather. And they really can’t believe it came from Amazon!”

Some shoppers say they love the shape of the bag, but wish there were a zipper or something to close it completely. “I like the slouchy look because it makes it look casual, but also fashionable… The only downside is that it’s not closed, so things will fall out,” wrote this buyer. They added, “Overall, I would highly recommend this bag and would even consider buying it in different colors.”
