This is reflected in the down-and-dirty, meats and potatoes rocker “Where’s My Phone” where Mitski warbles about her missing phone and how no one will save her over searing drums and guitars. Don’t give up on this track if the music sounds too simple- around the two-minute mark, the tune warps into something whimsical, demented and inspired.

“I’ll Change For You,” the second single, is much more restrained. The jazzy number — which includes friendly ambient sounds like people chattering and glasses clinking — dials things back as she coos heartbreaking lines like “How do I let our love die/When you’re the only other keeper/Of my most precious memories?”

If you’d like to check them out, you can find both singles here.

Mitski special guests

At all shows, an opening act will take the stage before Mitski’s headlining set.
