Head coach Ryan Woods\u2019 team will now direct its attention to Saturday\u2019s SIHSL Tournament quarterfinals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"DUW2GAS3RFD67EYWDPAFKJHODI\">Senior Christian Hinestroza finished with a game-high 26 points as the Clippers improved to 13-8 overall, including 8-6 in league play.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"RRBZWPRTLBDLFHRKPYFMHTUAJI\">St. Peter\u2019s found itself down 32-30 at intermission, but it tightened things up defensively by limiting the Clippers to just two points in the third quarter. Kenyatta Wilkinson added 14 markers for the Eagles, who improved to 11-9 overall (6-8 league).<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"HKEP3JSNQBH4JNRP4VT5K2RVRU\">The Lions only trailed 12-8 after one period, but St. E\u2019s rode the play of Lewis (nine points) to a 38-28 halftime lead.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"4V4SOAZUA5HB7GCHCQPBTFDMBA\">Lewis, as it turned out, was only just beginning to heat up as he sank 15 of 17 freebies and 17 points overall after halftime.
